*grumble*

Having slept on it, I'm not sure I like the way the last post went at the end. Comment would definitely be appreciated. :p Maybe I'll wind up doing a "director's cut" with an alternate ending, then clean it up afterwards.

The next two days will be filled with "deleted scenes" that I decided were important to the plot and/or character development, so a few things that may have been happening in the story will make sense on paper, and not just in my brain. :)

Thanks to everyone for reading! December is almost upon me, and I only have 5500 more words to go. :)

Hmm...

I need about 9000 words to get to 50% (I'm currently at 33%, exactly where I need to be) I wonder if I could get that done tonight?

Hahah!!! Maybe if cheese ninjas invaded my novel. :p

Ok, seriously...I'm going to try to get 2000 words done tonight after I finish tutoring. Because..well, I have NO buffer anymore. :/

Oops.

I messed up slightly. As you might or might not have noticed, I used HV6529 in the story...that was supposed to be the title of the novel. I'm not too worried about it right now, but I just wanted to point out that HV6529 is correct, and that the title of the novel is indeed HV6529, but I'm too much of a lazy ass to correct it right now. :p

So, the Day 8 was written as a challenge to myself from me. I wanted to see if I could do 3000 words in 3 hours. I managed to do it with about fifteen minutes in breaks throughout the three hours.

I don't think I want to do that again. Ye gods.

Hello?

I know a few people are reading this because I've been getting feedback via email, MSN Messanger or YahooMessenger (kinkygrrl1701@yahoo.com) or ICQ 167681443, but I haven't even gotten one comment on here. I know it's blogger comments, so you need to be either signed in or anonymous (sorry. :( ) but I'd love it if everyone who sees this post comments. :D Thanks!!

Sorry...

No writing yesterday. :( I'll hopefully have something up today, but no guarantees. I'm working on *gasp* SCHOOLWORK today. Damn me for not doing it all before November. >:(

Whew...under the wire

I just made quota before I turned into a pumpkin at midnight. I'm only 71 words away from 10k...but I'll do that tomorrow. My wrists hurt. :(

Bitey Hurty Bits!

I chew my nails...and yesterday was a doozy. I managed to bite one all the way to the quick. Much ouchies, especially when trying to punch out 3000 words like I did yesterday. I think I might just do quota tonight. :( I managed to make it worse today when it was starting to heal.

Note to self: don't bite off the bits that you type with.

Writing Quote

"Many people hear voices when no-one is there. Some of them are called mad and are shut up on rooms where they stare at the walls all day. Others are called writers and they do pretty much the same thing."--Meg Chittenden

Tragedy Strikes!!

My kettle is broken! How will I prepare my copious amounts of tea?! Alas!! And alack!! And too many exclamation points for one post!!

Writing today is going well. :) I have 691 words done today, so I'm doing well. I think I'm going to experiment with boiling water in the microwave and on the stovetop. Talk about roughing it.

Whoops...

I just realized the cliffhanger I left. See, I know what's going to happen, but you don't...so...ha ha. :p

That's what you get for reading a work in progress.

I'm feeling pretty good about my progress. 2567 words for the first day is not bad. :D And hey, at least I didn't start out with "It was a dark and stormy night..."

Caffiene consumed: 2 cups of tea, from the same tea bag. I really was drinking decaf green tea last night while writing that bit. I have a feeling I'm going to be writing a lot about tea...and hot chocolate...and various other coping strategies I have.
